Senior Backend Engineer (PHP, Node)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and work on our multi-application SaaS platform, built primarily with Symfony and React, with certain services running on Node.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of OOP

  • Proficiency in PHP

  • Experience with Symfony (preferred) or with other PHP frameworks

  • Experience with Node.js

  • Relational databases, advanced knowledge of SQL and Doctrine ORM

  • Writing testable and well documented code

  • Advanced knowledge of Version Control System (GIT)

  • Sysadmin and Linux/Unix skills

  • Knowledge of Docker

  • Written and spoken English

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Big Data

  • Experience with NoSQL databases

  • Experience with ChatGPT, Anthropic and other AI providers

  • Experience with AWS, Scaleaway, Kibana, ElasticSearch

  • Experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or Angular

  • Experience with Temporal

  • Experience in modeling statistical data

  • Experience with other similar technologies like Java Spring

  • Experience with legacy projects: testing and refactoring

  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or/and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
